Glossary/Dialing

Power dialer

A power dialer calls one prospect at a time and keeps a live rep on every call. It automates the busywork (dialing the number, detecting voicemail, logging the outcome) while a human stays on the line, which keeps conversations real and on the right side of TCPA.

A power dialer dials numbers from a list back to back so reps never touch a keypad, but it only ever runs one live call per rep. The moment a person answers, the rep is already there. That is the difference that matters: there is no bridge delay, no awkward dead air, and no risk of a connected call with no agent available.

Because a human is on every call, power dialing is the compliance-friendly way to run outbound. It avoids the abandoned-call exposure that comes with dialing multiple lines at once. Dialfyne is a power dialer by design, with local-presence caller ID, voicemail drop, and live coaching built in.
