A parallel dialer calls several numbers at once and connects the rep to the first person who answers. It raises dials per hour, but it can lower connect-to-meeting conversion and creates abandoned-call and caller-reputation risk because there is not always a live rep ready for every answer.
Parallel (or multi-line) dialers fire multiple calls simultaneously and bridge the rep to whichever one answers first. The pitch is raw volume. The trade-off is quality and compliance: when more calls connect than reps are available for, some answered calls get dropped, which is the exact behavior regulators scrutinize.
Parallel dialing can suit very high-volume teams with clean data who optimize purely for conversations. Most teams convert better on a power dialer because a human is on every call. Dialfyne is a power dialer, not a parallel dialer.
