TCPA

The Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) is the U.S. law that governs telemarketing calls, autodialed calls, and prerecorded or AI-generated voices. It shapes consent requirements, calling windows, and abandoned-call limits, and it is the main reason outbound teams care about how their dialer behaves.

TCPA and related FCC rules restrict things like calling without consent, calling outside permitted hours, and abandoning answered calls. AI-generated voices fall under the prerecorded-voice rules, which is why outbound AI voice needs documented consent.

A power dialer with a human on every call, calling-window controls, and DNC suppression is the lower-risk way to run outbound. Dialfyne is built around a TCPA-conscious, human-led motion. This is general information, not legal advice.
