Glossary/Compliance

Do Not Call (DNC)

Do Not Call (DNC) refers to lists of people who have asked not to be contacted, including the national registry and your own internal opt-outs. Honoring DNC is a legal requirement, so a compliant dialer scrubs numbers against these lists before anyone dials.

There is a national DNC registry plus the internal suppression list every business must keep for people who opt out directly. Calling a suppressed number is a compliance violation.

Dialfyne keeps a per-client DNC list and hard-blocks suppressed numbers before a call is placed, and dispositions that signal an opt-out add the number to DNC automatically.
