Dialfyne + Salesforce
Import Salesforce contacts, leads, accounts, and opportunities on demand. Dial with CRM context, then write matched call outcomes back as Tasks.
Conversation completed
Call details captured in Dialfyne
Outcome prepared
The rep dials with Salesforce name, contact details, and opportunity stage, value, and currency. On hangup, a matched outcome is queued as a Salesforce Task.

How it works
From conversation to system of record.
Salesforce stays the system of record. Dialfyne connects through OAuth (via Nango), imports a complete snapshot of contacts, leads, accounts, and opportunities when you click Sync now, and uses that context on the call. After a disposition, Dialfyne matches the contact or lead by email, then phone, and logs a Salesforce Task on that record. This is not live two-way sync and Dialfyne does not edit Salesforce contacts, leads, accounts, opportunity stages, owners, or amounts.
The workflow
- 01
Connect Salesforce
From Dialfyne Integrations, start Connect. You sign in to Salesforce, pick the org, and approve access. Dialfyne stores the Nango connection, not your Salesforce password.
- 02
Import when you choose
Sync now pulls a complete snapshot of contacts, leads, accounts, and opportunities. Records removed in Salesforce are pruned only after a full snapshot succeeds.
- 03
Dial with CRM context
Reps see Salesforce names, contact details, the record URL, and opportunity stage, value, and currency on the call brief.
- 04
Write the outcome back as a Task
A disposition matches the Salesforce contact or lead by email, then phone, and queues a completed call Task with outcome, duration, contact details, source, and follow-up timing.
What this connection does
ConnectedHonest boundary
What Salesforce does — and does not — do in Dialfyne.

- Outcome, connected status, duration, source, follow-up, meeting flag, and Dialfyne call ID on the Task
Not this integration
- Real-time or automatic record sync
- Two-way editing of Salesforce contacts, leads, accounts, opportunities, stages, owners, or amounts
- AI summaries, transcripts, or next-step copy inside the Salesforce Task
- Guaranteed instant writeback
Configure
Set it up once. Sync when you choose.
The connection starts inside Dialfyne, not at an OAuth callback URL.
Open Dialfyne Integrations
Sign in at app.dialfyne.com and go to Integrations. Salesforce appears when the workspace has the Salesforce connector enabled.
Connect Salesforce
Choose Connect. Dialfyne starts OAuth through Nango and sends you to Salesforce to pick an org and approve access. You return to Integrations when authorization succeeds.
Import contacts, leads, accounts, and opportunities
Click Sync now. Wait for the completion banner before dialing from the imported list. Re-run Sync now whenever Salesforce records have changed.
Dial, then save the disposition
Complete the call in Dialfyne. Saving the outcome queues a Salesforce Task on the matched contact or lead. Delivery is queued, not instant.
Disconnect from Dialfyne
On Integrations, choose Disconnect on Salesforce. Dialfyne stops importing records and writing Tasks, and deletes the Nango connection. Existing Salesforce contacts, leads, accounts, opportunities, and Tasks stay in Salesforce.
What writes back
The Salesforce task is a call record, not a transcript dump.
Matched outcomes stay attached to the person. Example fields below match the live writeback — they are illustrative, not a customer record.

Questions
Salesforce integration FAQ
Is this two-way sync with Salesforce?
No. Dialfyne imports a snapshot when you click Sync now, then writes matched call outcomes back as Salesforce Tasks. It does not edit Salesforce contacts, leads, accounts, opportunity stages, owners, or amounts.
How do Salesforce records get into Dialfyne?
After you connect, click Sync now on Integrations. That pulls contacts, leads, accounts, and opportunities. There is no continuous background import.
How does Dialfyne match a call to a Salesforce record?
It uses the contact or lead already linked on the dialer when present. Otherwise it matches contacts then leads by email first, then by phone. If neither matches, no Task is written.
What appears on the Salesforce Task?
Outcome, connected status, duration, lead name, phone, email, Dialfyne source, call time, follow-up due, meeting booked when relevant, and the Dialfyne call ID. Transcripts and AI summaries are not written to Salesforce.
Where do I start the Salesforce connection?
Inside Dialfyne: Integrations → Salesforce → Connect, or https://app.dialfyne.com/connect/salesforce. That is the OAuth entry point. Do not use a Nango or Salesforce callback URL.
What happens if I disconnect?
Disconnecting in Dialfyne stops imports and writeback and removes the Nango connection. Existing Salesforce records and previously written Tasks remain in Salesforce. Dialfyne does not delete Salesforce data on disconnect.
Controlled setup
In Dialfyne, open Integrations and choose Connect on Salesforce. Approve access in Salesforce, then click Sync now before the first calling session.
Visible by design
Every sync stays attached to a real conversation and outcome, so your team can review the context.
Built for the next step
The integration moves the useful detail forward instead of dumping another block of unstructured notes.
