STIR/SHAKEN is the framework U.S. carriers use to cryptographically attest that a call is coming from a legitimate number, to fight spoofing and robocalls. Numbers with strong attestation are less likely to be labeled spam, which protects your connect rate.
Carriers sign outbound calls with an attestation level (A is the strongest) based on how well the originating number is verified. Calls with weak attestation are more likely to show up as Spam Likely.
For outbound teams this matters because a flagged number kills answer rates. Dialfyne provisions numbers with A-attestation where possible and quarantines any number that picks up a spam label.
